Hot Wheels Display Cabinet For Kid’s Room
Hobby Shop Woodworking Plans – An easy-to-follow multi-page plan with individual part reference numbers, sub-assemblies, and complete cutting lists.
This is a fun project for beginner Woodworkers that have a limited tool selection and fundamental woodworking knowledge. It is also a great project to decorate a young boy’s room with the added functionality of storing, displaying, and organizing Hot Wheels or other 1:64 scale model cars.
I designed the unit in component form to store 64 Hot Wheels in a decorative but functional way. Assembling in component form also allows for adaptability in terms of painting to suit different color schemes.
The cars needed to be individually visible and easily accessible so they can be removed for my son to play with.
The project can be assembled with standard power tools that hobbyist woodworkers would have in their workshop. Fixings are straightforward with brad nails or panel pins and wood glue.

NOTE! Plans are made available in METRIC and IMPERIAL (both on the same plan) but were designed and built in METRIC using METRIC standard sizes. The plans were then converted directly to IMPERIAL(INCH) measurements.
