A Practical Space-Saving Solution for Hobbyist Woodworkers With Small Workshops!
Many people, like myself, practice their love for woodworking in small garages. Unlike myself, many of those people need to also use their garages as, well, garages. That was what inspired me to design a space-saving table saw station.
Since changing over to my WADKIN AGS 10 my small contractors-type Makita MLT100 has not seen a lot of action. Because I am not ready to get rid of it just yet I figured it was a golden opportunity to explore a design I had been sitting on for some time. A way to store my saw with a small footprint and out of the way. When it is stored the storage unit doubles as a small work surface or bench but can easily be transformed into a table saw station with outfeed support.
Multifunctionality is the key to designing and building the Ultimate Small Workshop.
IMPORTANT! – These plans were developed using the dimensions of my Makita MLT100. It is very likely that the dimensions would need to be adapted to suit a different make or model saw!

NOTE! Plans are made available in METRIC and IMPERIAL but were designed and built in METRIC using METRIC standard sizes. The plans were then converted directly to IMPERIAL measurements- Fractions
