As a woodworker, there are so many small parts, screws, tools, and so on that we accrue over the years. The longer you have been doing this, the more items you have lying around. Nothing is more irritating than knowing you purchased something a few weeks back but you just can’t for the life of you remember where you put it. Organizing parts and screws is a vital task for any DIY or even professional woodworker. There are plenty of off-the-shelf items that you can purchase for organizing your miscellaneous parts but finding the exact right one can be tedious. I found that nothing I could purchase quite met my needs. I, therefore, decided to create my own DIY Small parts organizer. It’s very functional and meets all of the requirements I had for a Small Part Organizer, maximizing the amount of storage with a relatively small footprint. I chose to mount mine to my French cleat Wall but you can modify it to adapt to your workshop requirements.

NOTE! Plans are made available in METRIC and IMPERIAL but were designed and built in METRIC using METRIC standard sizes. The plans were then converted directly to IMPERIAL measurements- Fractions
